I've used this same marinade for years and you can leave the ginger out and it is still great. It works well on chicken, pork and even shrimp.<BR/>I checked out your blog and it's great. The yule log recipe seems like a lot involved but sounds incredible. Probably one of those foods we describe as 'to die for'.
